Pay: 100$/hr. Rate of pay will be commensurate with education, experience and is negotiable.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of two years of clinical work experience
· Alberta Registered Psychologist or Registered Social Worker.
· Registration must be with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) or the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) or the Association of Counselling Therapy Alberta (ACTA) and be a current member in good standing.
· Individual professional liability insurance

This is a contract position and can be part-time or full-time hours.
Contract is for up to 20 hours of work per week and days and hours of work are negotiable.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay current with research and advancements in the field of psychology
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies
Skills and Responsibilities:
- Strong patient care skills, including empathy, active listening, and effective communication
- Knowledge of psychological theories, principles, and therapeutic techniques
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Conduct psychological assessments and providing evidence-based treatment approaches (CBT, DBT, EMDR, ART);

Provide individual sessions (in-person and virtual) for clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, somatic complaints, substance misuse, adjustment disorder and interpersonal issues within the person’s psycho-social context and/or based on your clinical expertise.

Develop and implement treatment plans;

Excellent clinical reasoning skills;

Experience working in vocationally focused rehabilitation

Strong verbal and written communication skills;

Analytical ability to evaluate clients with various diagnoses and establish an appropriate intervention plan with evidence-based treatment approaches;

High level of professionalism and confidentiality with an ability to deal with sensitive client issues;

Strong organizational, time-management and prioritizing skills;
